ABOUT ME:
All my products are hand made. I have been sewing and making things since I was 10 years old.
I sell accent pieces. Just a little pop of color or something special to help make your personal space a little more visually pleasing.
What is my strength? Fabric selection. I use good quality fabric. Schumacher, Thibaut, Clarke & Clarke. I have trouble finding fabric that I love but when I do, I tend to stick to certain brands. I have spent hours searching for good quality fabric that I love for home decorating.
I love home decorating!!
I also love color. In this world of living in Fairbanks, Alaska, I feel that color in my personal space is important to me.
I have a nine degree certificate in Home Decorating from the Madison Area Technical college in Madison, WI. I have put that to use in decorating my own home. If you are interested in any advice I would love to offer my two cents!! Other than that, thank you for your interest in Pillows by Amy!!

I am happy to hand deliver products right here in Fairbanks!! I have a square that I use for charging credit cards if this is the preferred way to purchase. I am also very happy to ship products out of Fairbanks. Can we use Venmo? I keep all my products wrapped in plastic to protect them and keep them clean until purchased!!
These ottomans were featured at the Woman's Affair this year. April 4,5 and 6, 2025. I had a booth, Pillows by Amy. The chartreuse ottoman is "not quite perfect". The fabric is very thick. We had to shim a couple of legs to make it balanced. But it looks great on top!! $200. The other two blue ottomans, one is navy (this one is sold) and the other is teal, are $250. I got a lot of compliments on the teal ottoman at the Woman's Affair!!

These lamp shades were also featured at the Woman's Affair this year!! They will need lamp harps for attaching to your lamp base. Make sure your lamp base has the capability to hold a harp. Depending on your lamp base size you may need either a 6" or 8" harp. I had to order my 6" harp from Amazon because I couldn't find a harp that small in Fairbanks. The smaller harp brought the shade down lower as to cover the hardware on the lamp base! You don't want that hardware to show!! I then had to find a smaller light bulb to fit in the harp!! (Please see the photo of my lamp below). The two lampshades, green and navy, on the left and in the middle are $85. The yellow one in front and the light blue in the back are $50 each (not quite perfect but ohh so close!).
These two beaded lamp shades are $50 each. (The orange one is no longer available). The photo doesn't do them justice! They are much cuter in person!! My latest creation (shown below) is a pink beaded lampshade with coral ruffled trim! Could be cute for a girl's room! $60.
This is my lamp from home with a lampshade that I made. The lamp shade, before the make over, and the base came from Lowe's.
I have two pillow covers available for each of the pillow covers shown. The only exception is the plum cover with the bunnies print. I only have one available of this cover.

These are some photos of some of the products I have made for my own home. I made the chartreuse bench and pillow, The green and red floral pillow and the leopard print ottoman. I must admit that I didn't make the pillow on top of the ottoman!! 🫢
I just had to have it! This is a lampshade that I had for sale at the Woman's Affair. I decided that it would look great in our bedroom. If you are interested in this lampshade I can make another one!! Again, I had to use a smaller harp (6") and a smaller light bulb for this lampshade and base.
One of my flower pillows was sold at the Woman's Affair. I had made two of them. Flower pillow $110. The insert is included. Spot clean only!! The 14" x 20" lumbar pillow covers shown are $75. The 14" x 20" lumbar pillow covers with tassels are $85. The tassels are wrapped in plastic to protect them until purchased! I recommend a one size up pillow insert to fill out the pillow covers. 20" for an 18" pillow cover and 22" for a 20" pillow cover. I recently ordered a lumbar pillow insert from Comfy Down. Amazon. 14" x 22". I recommend this size for the lumbar pillow covers. I have some 20" pillow inserts that I recently bought from JoAnn fabrics that I will give away with the purchase of an 18" pillow cover. The 18" pillow covers are the bird print cover, the brown 100% linen leopard print and the plum print with the bunnies. The 20" pillow cover is the big floral print fabric on a beige background and the pastel tree print. The green lumbar cover shown to the left on the table is $75 (insert not included). I had trouble capturing the pretty green color with my camera. It is prettier in person!! This is my own personal pillow at home but I do have two of the green lumbar pillow covers available. You would need to order a pillow insert. Again, I recommend Comfy Down. Amazon. 14" x 22" pillow insert. I recommend dry cleaning for all the pillow covers.
This is a custom ottoman that I did for a friend! She picked out the fabric from JoAnn fabrics! They are using the ottoman in their RV! I added an RV applique to embellish it!!
